场地位于由英国设计师Thomas Heatherwick设计的上海天安千树商场内，整个建筑像一座既魔幻又昂贵的混凝土森林，与周围环境格格不入，而本项目作为进入建筑内部第一眼就能看到的空间，我们想将一个干旱的沙漠景观戏剧性地置入其中，来讽刺这个巨构内核的荒凉。我们以场地最中心为圆心，设计了一套环形的动线系统，并在每一层级的环形系统中，交错布置了墙体、楼梯、构架、木亭、镜碑、砖盒等不同的构筑语言，形成一个既统一又多样、既开放又迂回的空间形态，就像一个沙漠中的城邦遗迹。
The site is situated within the Shanghai Tian'an Qianshu Shopping Mall, designed by British architect Thomas Heatherwick. The entire building takes on the appearance of a magical yet opulent concrete forest, standing in stark contrast to its surroundings. As the very first space that greets visitors upon entering the building, we aim to dramatically juxtapose a parched desert landscape within it, intending to satirize the desolation at the core of this massive structure. Commencing from the venue's central point, we've devised a circular circulation system. Within each tier of this circular arrangement, diverse architectural elements such as walls, staircases, frameworks, wooden pavilions, mirrored monoliths, and brick boxes are interwoven. This approach generates a space that's harmoniously uniform yet creatively varied, offering both an inclusive and expansive environment, resembling the remains of an ancient city-state nestled within the desert.
