Row houses in the city
The project transcends the constraints of conventional physical architecture and serves as a contemplation on the concept of "home", with the objective of fostering a harmonious interaction between individuals, nature, and architectural design. The overall project design deviates from the traditional unitary spatial layout, placing emphasis on spatial complexity and innovation through adaptation to local conditions, an experimental construction system, differentiated functional integration, and contrasting materials. It integrates influences from modernism and minimalistic architectural styles. The combination of exposed concrete, stainless steel, teak wood surfaces is carefully proportioned for practical functionality while exploring the potential for a "home" within a traditional design context.
The original sixth-floor space has been transformed into a residential area capable of accommodating various functions. An outdoor staircase spanning five floors has been incorporated as a distinctive landmark structure that traverses both interior and exterior spaces of the residence. This introduces ample natural light into the interior environment while establishing itself as a timeless, serene presence amidst its bustling surroundings.
In this setting where privacy coexists with public spaces at intersecting paths akin to an intriguing small city.
