PLSINTEC研发总部位于江苏省苏州市吴江经济技术开发区。PLSINTEC致力于国产半导体检测设备的研发与产业化,努力成为中国制程控制与良率管理的领先者。一捆建筑为PLSINTEC的科学家们和工程师们设计了全新的研发和生产环境,并参与了品牌设计。
这是一次纳米尺度与人体尺度的同频共振。我们以建筑诠释精确性,用空间表达普雷赛斯。如此,为科学之精确而工作的人们和为空间之精确而工作的人们便可以在同一种理性下栖息。
一、 圆方生万物
宇宙是由数学之间的简洁关系构成的。建筑如宇宙,展现大尺度世界创造的过程,芯片世界亦是如此。
我们希望以最原初的力量构筑科技的宏伟。为此,我们选择圆与方这两个初等几何来组织起整个空间,这种原始的未来感以不同尺度、不同材质、不同维度的方式重复搭建,同时又严丝合缝、互相生长。所有宏观构件的尺寸及定位均发生在这些最小建构元素的模数累加,可以追溯到建造柱和墙面的一块砖和一个砌块。
二、 追求精确的圣殿
漫步进入建筑的过程被设计得如同崇高而具有仪式性,阵列式的走廊串联起整个漫游的路径,向上的柱列结构和裸露的原始楼板充分调动层高的优势,让整个空间拥有了圣殿式的气场。中心化的布局清晰而秩序,并使得整体平面从传统的办公格局中跳脱出来。
三、 雕刻一种科技人文主义
我们以两种规格的水泥砖,来代表二进制符号中1和0,并以在朝南空间横向砌筑的方式,使编码与光影共同谱写企业的核心理念:探微志广,越陌度阡。
室内家具、艺术品和灯具也利用数控技术雕刻阡陌,诠释半导体产业的建筑感,与高技神圣、理性纯粹的空间氛围相吻合。
PLSINTEC's R&D headquarters is located in Wujiang Economy and Technology Development Zone, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. PLSINTEC is dedicated to the research and industrialization of domestically-produced semiconductor testing equipment, striving to become a leader in process control and yield management in China. Ikkun Architects designed a brand-new R&D and production environment for PLSINTEC's scientists and engineers, and also participated in the brand design.
This is a resonance between the nanoscale and the human scale. We interpret precision in architecture, expressing PLSINTEC through space. Thus, those who work for the precision of science and those who work for the precision of space can coexist under the same rationality.
The universe is composed of concise mathematical relationships. Architecture, like the universe, reveals the process of creating a grand-scale world, and the world of microchips is no different.
We aspire to construct the grandeur of technology with the most primal forces. To achieve this, we opt for the elementary geometries of circle and square to organize the entire space. This primitive sense of futurism is repeated and seamlessly intergrown in various scales, materials, and dimensions. The dimensions and positioning of all macroscopic components occur in the cumulative modulus of these smallest building elements, tracing back to a brick and a block used in constructing pillars and walls.
The sequence is designed to be sublime and ceremonial, with an arrayed corridor connecting the entire journey. The upward columnar structures and exposed raw floor plates effectively leverage the advantages of ceiling height, giving the entire space a cathedral-like atmosphere. The centralized layout is both simple and orderly, breaking away from traditional office layouts and giving the overall plan a sense of liberation.
We use two sizes of cement bricks to represent the binary symbols 1 and 0, and horizontally lay them in the south-facing space. This method of encoding, combined with light and shadow, echoes the core philosophy of the enterprise: "Exploring the vast with a microscopic perspective, traversing distant paths."
Interior furniture, artworks, and lighting fixtures are also carved with precision using CNC technology to depict the sense of architecture in the semiconductor industry, aligning with the high-tech, sacred, and rational atmosphere of the space.
