本案落地上海，藏身于熙攘繁华的建筑高层之中。而与上海熙攘繁华的城市格局不同，只要一踏进这个空间，人们即能真正的安静下来。入口处以东方风格强烈的造型元素，将人的感受与外部嘈杂的环境完全隔离开，大面积深色木质面搭配天然石材，再加上局部灯光的点映，营造出低缓的、幽静的进入廊道。 而在临江的南面，设计在此基础上，延续中式空间中轴对称的格局关系，形成中部开敞，向两边私密度不断加强的梯度转移。在每一个就餐的角度，向外望去，窗外的江景皆成了一副被框定的风景画。  整个餐厅的光线偏向于“幽明含蓄”，以此营造静谧之感。在空间里，光线不再是一种独立的元素，而是依靠不同材料的介入与相互作用，调和成充盈在空间里的介质。木头温厚、餐具精巧、复古的玻璃门，与暖黄色廊灯中的影影绰绰，被外部的天光、一株盎然的绿植承载的自然之意打破，变得利落而有力量。 
This project is located inside a bustling skyscraper on the south bank of Huangpu River in Shanghai. Different from the urban atmosphere, people feel calm as soon as they step into this space. The strong oriental style decorative elements at the entrance completely separate the restaurant tone from the noisy external environment. Dark wood finishing combined with natural stone with strategic use of spotlights create a low-key and quite corridor. The design continues the symmetrical pattern of Chinese aesthetic on forming an open central dining area and gradually increasing privacy on both sides. Looking out the window through each dining table, the river scenery becomes to a framed landscape painting.   The lights of the whole restaurant tend to be "bright but subtle" as to create a sense of tranquility. In this space, light is no longer an independent element, but depends on the intervention and interaction of each different materials. The warmth of the wood, exquisite tablewares, old school glass doors and the shadows under the yellow corridor lamps are all brought to life by the external natural light along with the green plant, and become neat and powerful.
