西坡江山有着得天独厚的地理位置，参差错落的竹林包裹着成片的梯田，上古村落里的夯土房都有着百年的历史。UTS将散落的老房子重新设计组合成了三座院落，并在自然和当地的乡村生活方式中汲取灵感，保留了原有建筑中所有的木头、墙面以及框架，如天井，矮门（给小动物通过的）等；同时又在其中点缀了当代乡居生活的质感，如自制的竹凳，山茶花灯、流苏抱枕等。使得这处村落重新焕发出了荣光与自信，也成为了现代都市人避世旅居首选的目的地之一。
HillsideVillage Jiangshan has a unique geographical location, scattered bamboo forests are wrapped in terraces, and the rammed earth houses in the ancient villages have a century of history. UTS redesigned the scattered old houses into three courtyards, and took inspiration from nature and the local rural lifestyle.
