「椒园」是李先生和吴姐的工作室兼新家，夫妇二人从事火锅相关行业多年，向往乡野的生活，辗转在重庆郊区找到这块地，想着可以来小住，也可以做成多年移植过来的世界各地的辣椒、花椒品种培育基地，而房子周围则种成自己喜欢的稻田。他们找到好友谢柯和建筑师李骏、何飙，大家一起建起了这个郊野的乡居 —— 稻田里的房子。 温暖的夯土围墙与白墙交错围合出入口处的中央水庭院，半通透的过廊为重庆雨天留下了一个可以闲散一坐的休息之处。回归平静，温和地与世界共存，更易发现本我以及其周遭的事物。而设计则是提供这样的场所，去建立空间与人的共生与共存。 去淡化设计的痕迹，才能帮助空间表现其本质的魅力。以一种尽可能开放的空间去承载生活的联系，每一个生活时刻都能在这里得以解释，静谧独存且优雅共生。
"Jiaoyuan" is the studio and new home of Mr. Li and Sister Wu. The couple have been engaged in hot pot related industries for many years, yearning for a rural life, and found this land in the suburbs of Chongqing. The cultivation bases of peppers and Chinese pepper varieties transplanted from all over the world have been transplanted for many years, and the rice fields around the house are planted to their liking. They found good friend Xie Ke, architects Li Jun and He Biao, and together they built this rural home—a house in a rice field. The warm rammed earth walls and white walls enclose the central water courtyard at the entrance and exit, and the semi-permeable corridors provide a place to sit and relax on rainy days in Chongqing. People can coexists with the world harmoniously, and they will find it is an easy way to explore themselves and surroundings when coming back to the peaceful mood. Designers provide a simple space only，which interacts with occupants. Reducing the appearance of over-decoration can help the space fully expresses its essential charm. Various connections of life are accepted by a flexible flow. Therefore，every moment of life can be described, which could be private but also symbiotic.
