酒店位于汤山园博园内，占地13745㎡。设计团队结合英迪格品牌DNA，注重与邻近社区的紧密关系；并深入汤山地质文化，在尊重并延续原生环境元素的前提下，创造以“矿岩”为设计灵感和空间主角的叙事空间。 英迪格品牌方第一次，将品牌邻间故事交由设计团队策划。从创意到交付仅一年时间，如何在短期内创造独特空间体验，精准传达英迪格的邻里文化，用设计为本案提升竞争力？是设计上的挑战。设计在大堂区，巧用幻彩玻璃、镜面金属、亚克力等材质，营造宝矿丛林的迷幻感；大堂吧及全日餐厅引入篝火、矿灯、弧形帐篷，激发温暖放松的情绪......电梯厅及走廊，成为勘探器具的MINI展厅；客房以“自然修复”为题，带来森林、植物、青苔……矿物工具箱化身迷你吧、床头柜，与周边场域无声呼应……鲜明的主题特色、丰富趣味的体验及链接邻里矿坑的故事，使酒店在片区内脱颖而出，获得较高体验评价。 汤山地质文化丰富，项目1000米以内，是千年矿坑、废弃采石场及国家地质公园。通过这场沉浸式“探索者游记”，设计希望体验者身临其境，感受到废旧矿坑新生的生命力。
The hotel is located in Nanjing Tangshan Garden Expo, covering an area of 13,745 sq.m. The Indigo brand is always at the heart of closely related neighborhoods. Therefore, the design team has conducted a thorough geological and cultural investigation of Tangshan and drawn on Tangshan’s original environmental features. Inspired by Tangshan’s mineral ore, the team decided to make it the theme of the space. It is the first time that the Indigo brand has entrusted a design team with telling Indigo’s neighborhood story. The team had only one year to work from the design concept to the implementation. Within the limited time, the team managed to create a unique space experience, accurately interpret Indigo’s neighborhood culture, and enhance the competitiveness of the hotel. The adoption of colorful glass, metal mirror and acrylic creates a forest-like mood in the lobby area. The design of the lobby bar and the ADD restaurant is inspired by bonfire, miner’s lamp, and the arc shape of the tent, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The lift lobby and the corridor are transformed into mini exhibition halls for exploration instruments. With the theme of “natural recovery,” the guest rooms bring in forests, plants, and mosses. The minibars and nightstands in the guest rooms are in the form of mining toolboxes, blended into the surroundings. The hotel has stood out from competitors in the area and earned a reputation for its distinctive theme, exciting experiences and neighborhood story. Tangshan is rich in geological resources. In a 1 kilometer radius, there are mine pits dating back over a millennium, abandoned quarries and national geological parks. The design team hopes that the guests’ stays at Hotel Indigo Nanjing will be an immersive “Journey of the Explorer” to experience the vitality of the revived mine pits.
