In order to meet the functional requirements, we break the original building space. “形”——流动的艺术 “Shape”— the art of flow “打破”空间原有逻辑，重回空间建筑本质，借助“体块”的交错穿插，使楼梯自“下”流转至“上”，光影也随之由“外”流动至“内”，光影的流动，给予了空间特性，也给予了建筑生命...... We “break” the original logic of the space and return to its architectural essence with the interlacing of “blocks”, so that the staircase flows from “down” to “up”. The flow of light and shadow gives the space its character and the house its life... “纯粹”与“粗犷”并存，“减法”与“加法”同在，新生的白色建筑，混凝土的粗糙肌理，新与旧的矛盾，自然光贯穿整个空间，亦强调了建筑的“纯粹性”。 “Purity” and “roughness” coexist, “subtraction” and “addition” occur at the same time. The new white house with the rough texture of concrete, expresses the contradiction between the old and the new. The natural light throughout the space, also emphasizes the “purity” of the house. “光”之于空间，犹如“空气”之于生命，赋予建筑生命与灵魂，勾勒建筑的边界与线条，置身其中，万物流转,光影蹁跹...... “Light” is to space, just as “air” is to life.
