2020 年12月开幕的麦当劳 CUBE 成都旗舰店占地两层，以家传户晓的开心乐园餐TM为灵感，回想童年满心期待地打开正方盒、揭晓美食及玩具的心情，并将正方包装盒的元素和童年快乐回忆巧妙地融入室内设计，以全新的手法打造时尚玩味的环境与愉悦的用餐体验。设计团队将麦当劳带来的童年快乐回忆融入 CUBE 的创新设计中，呈现麦当劳欢乐、窝心的面貌，为各年龄层的朋友带来不一样的餐饮体验和温暖的社交场所。CUBE融合了三大设计符号——立方、暖色和隐藏的微笑；以开心乐园餐™形状的立方元素、通过暖色创造了无限可能性，在定制化的灯具和拱形线条装饰中融入的 “隐藏的微笑” 让人不禁想起回忆起开心乐园餐™的趣味。 成都旗舰店以大幅落地玻璃为外墙，外观设计现代简洁。店里半透明的楼梯连接上下两层，透亮的质感增强了空间感。楼梯底部以橙色镜面装饰，营造温暖活力的氛围，让顾客可与朋友共聚用餐，尽享快乐时光。用餐需求，以半透明的橙啡色渐变玻璃划分不同用餐区域，并设置卡座、散座、长桌和吧台配合不同需求。这一极具包容性的设计旨在为所有年龄段的人创造亲切有趣的用餐氛围，鼓励顾客们一起享受和探索CUBE这个趣味空间。
Opened in Chengdu in 2020, the two-storey McDonald’s CUBE Flagship Restaurant draws inspiration from our childhood memories of eagerly unpacking the iconic Happy MealTM, revealing a magic box full of yummy food and fun surprises. CUBE design transforms these sweet memories into a cheerful urban space for people from all walks of life to connect and enjoy moments of carefree happiness. Integrating three main concepts throughout its design – “Cube”, “Warm Colours” and “Hidden Smile”, the modular cubic shape of the Happy MealTM signature box reveals all the endless possibilities of this playful setting, enhanced by heart-warming colours and bespoke lighting and décor in rounded shapes that subtly recall the “Hidden Smile” feature of the Happy MealTM. The restaurant employs generous floor-to-ceiling windows to unveil the contemporary interior setting and minimalist outlook. The two floors are connected by a striking semi-translucent staircase which creates a dynamic perception of the visual space, accentuated by the underneath reflective textures in bright orange – the colour of joy, shaping a place to chill and dine enjoyably. Defined by simple lines and minimalistic features, the dining areas are equipped with tables, scattered seats, long tables and bar counters, and divided by the semi-translucent orange-brown gradient glass in considering the various needs of visitors. Conceived to cater to people of all ages, this inclusive design creates a welcoming and playful atmosphere that encourages visitors to have fun and explore together all the humorous surprises and joyful hints of the CUBE space.
