有别于繁华密集的城市日常，潮餐厅向人们传递的是安静的日常感受。我们将大众眼中热闹，喧嚣及人声鼎沸的场面都束之高阁，反之用心营造的是一份留给现代都市人群的静谧与舒适体验。 餐厅的设计没有拘泥于中式传统细节，而是承载着中式设计美感，在不同空间层叠中寻找新的平衡与美感。运用中性色彩,刻意降低空间自身的存在与声量，当人们交谈时会自然地维系这种场域，故一个优雅的用餐氛围就得保持了下来。 在餐厅中，我们设计了好似带有“花瓣”“蝴蝶翅膀”等象征语言的家具和灯具，借助产品户型的线条及曲面构造，排列组合后产生的形状就宛如花朵和蝴蝶般。将它们置于桌边或悬于头顶，静谧的氛围下平添了一丝理性于感性的知性美。 业主期望这是一个功能和运营需求都得到充分满足的中餐厅。设计氛围有别于大多数中餐厅经常有的油腻感，而是更关注深层的精神层面的美学。不仅如此，应该区别于市面上很多餐厅都在用昂贵的建筑材料进行堆砌。有足够的留白，对中国文化有所体现。我们最终将设计的重点落实到几何比例的运用，和，在不同空间的层叠交错中寻找新的平衡与美感。并且在气味声音上也多维度强化设计概念。 硬装和软装材料均使用的都是浅色的暖色。不透明的材料是浅色橡木，米色肌理涂料和浅灰色水磨石。半透明的材料使用了压花玻璃，有透明度的面料和中国宣纸等。
Distinct from the bustling and dense metropolis daily life, the chao restaurant convey peace and quite spirituality feeling to custom. Instead of sticking to traditional Chinese details, the design of the restaurant carries the aesthetics of Chinese design, finding a new balance and beauty in the different spatial layers. This feeling is present in every group of guests in the dining scene. This is a Chinese restaurant where functional and operational needs are fully met. The atmosphere of the restaurant is different from most Chinese restaurants and reflects a deeper spiritual aesthetic. All materials used for both the space and soft furnishings are light and warm colors. The solid materials are light oak, beige textured paint and light grey terrazzo. The translucent materials used are embossed glass, transparent fabrics and Chinese rice paper.
