菲涅尔小酒馆（Fresnel Restaurant & Wine Cellar）位于上海南京西路中信泰富广场，其名字中“菲涅尔”指灯塔上聚焦并反射光线的螺纹透镜，光源透过它在黑暗中照亮大海为水手指引回家的路。CATS掘取Fresnel透镜剖面为灵感并将其解构，便生出了F型凹槽图像。它融入了整个酒窖和餐厅的视觉系统（包括照明，织物，家具等元素）及空间的设计中。自此，菲涅尔透镜不仅是一种功能性的物件，它被赋予了符号性与精神性。在空间与光的迂回中，F形符号时而隐匿于角落时而跃然于墙壁，它们在这方缓缓的空间总是暗示家与归途。在这个设计中，CATS想传达和灯塔相同的理念:希望光可以让我们聚集在一起。
Fresnel Restaurant & Wine Cellar is located in CITIC Pacific Plaza, West Nanjing Road, Shanghai. Its name "Fresnel" refers to the threaded lens on the lighthouse that focuses and reflects lights, through which the light source illuminates the sea in the darkness and guides sailors to their home. CATS took the Fresnel lens section as inspiration and deconstructed it to create the F-shaped groove image, which is integrated into the visual system (lighting, fabrics, furniture, and other elements) and the spatial design throughout the cellar and restaurant. Since then, the Fresnel lens has been not only functional but also symbolic and spiritual. In the meandering of space and light, the F-shaped symbols, sometimes hidden in the corners and sometimes leaping on the walls, always implicit home and homecoming in this slow space. In this design, CATS wants to convey the same idea as the lighthouse: the hope that light can bring us together.
