这里是屋主一家三口的新居，女主人关于家的幻想，是冷静日克制。曾经她一度以为冷色调、深色调就代表冷静于是他们第一个家，呈现出极为冷淡的样子。但随着时间的推移，屋主发现渐渐喜好偏向温暖明媚的家。 新家希望将女主人的冷静和克制、男主人的自然风相融合，并且拥有自由的居住环境。自由是一个很主观的词语，对于这个词屋主也有自己的阐释。他们希望家里的自由是干净、可变性、多动线。 所以整个项目的设计，其实是围绕着“冷静、克制”展开的，两个词其实是很感性的词汇，一方面从视觉上来讲，用一句话概括为“眼不见为净”，形式上简洁利落，没有过于繁复的造型、对比过于强烈的色彩增加视觉负担，给大脑提供一个相对“干净”的环境，没有过多信息进入大脑，干扰思绪，当然也不限于视觉。另一方面从功能上讲，通过逻辑清晰的功能设计和收纳设计去约束人的行为，提供顺畅、高效的动线，好用的功能，让做饭、清洁、洗衣晾晒等家务，都变得更“顺手、顺心”，有此作为基础，才能达到视觉上的干净、整洁。
