上海西郊动物园附近的三层独栋别墅，是设计师蒋琼耳居住了五年的家。与大部分居所不同，这栋房子是租来的，没有任何硬装改动，在保留房子原貌的基础上仅靠家具、物件、艺术品和温暖的家庭生活添置充盈了这个作为“家”的空间。 这栋住宅包括半地下室在内共三层，一楼集中了主要的公共区域，客厅、棋牌区、书房、餐厅以及厨房，半地下室有理疗房、屋主与孩子公用的画室和屋主先生的办公室，室外还有一座漂亮的大院子。 窗外的景致与室内的布置动静结合、相得益彰。家中的所有艺术装置都来源于屋主的家人——有外公画的泼墨荷花图、本人创作的家具摆件、也有孩子们带回的陶艺课习作。在这个家里，一草一木一物件都具有穿越时空的“超能力”，承载着爱在其中流动、交汇、传承。如蒋琼耳所说，无论在人生的哪个节点，‘家’都代表了她的过去，也赋予她迎向未来的力量。
The three-storey villa near Shanghai Zoo has been the designer Jiang Qionger’s home for five years. Unlike most residences, this house is rented, without any hard alterations, but only filled with furniture, objects, artwork, and warm family life based on preserving the original structure of the house. The house consists of three floors, including the semi-basement. All the main common areas gathered at the first floor, including living room, chess area, study room, dining room and kitchen. In the semi-basement, there are therapy room, shared art studio of Jiang Qionger and the children, and the office of her husband. Also, there is a large, beautiful courtyard outside. Outdoor scenery combines and complements with indoor installations. From splash-ink lotus drawings to pottery homework, all the art works in the home are from the designer and her family. At here, every object has ‘superpower’ to travel through time and space, carrying love to flow, converge and pass to the next generation. As Jiang Qionger said, home holds her past and gives her strength to welcome the future.
