1889年，受中山先生“天下为公，世界大同”理念的深刻影响，“李大同”的命名应运而来，“大同”思想亦是代表着人类对于未来社会的美好憧憬。随着历史的车轮滚滚而来，历经百年的老店有了新的追寻，这份代表着浙南地区传统文化传承的符号，也在新时代里，不断升级，焕发新生。李大同品牌传承至今，已经到了第四代传人，像许许多多的百年老店一样，面临着转型升级的难题，如何在新时代里发出古老的声音，二间半给出的观点是：与品牌创造故事。店铺选址于瑞安忠义街，系汉末安乡侯蔡敬则有功于民，故建忠义庙祀之，因以命街。这条街原是古代达官显贵官邸府衙的建造之处，多年演化而来，文化意蕴浓厚，选址于此，亦是因其与“李大同”品牌一样，久经风霜，遂于现代焕发新生。为了延续李大同浓重的历史文化氛围，空间框架采用中式传统的榫卯结构形成连接，推门而入，圆弧形过道包含圆形置物立柱，构成“同心圆”视觉结构，而以中式传统的意蕴来讲，圆即为圆满，代表天圆地方，是传统意境中非常常见的表现形式。古朴的木质材料与朱砂红的主色调奠定了空间的整体基调，厚重又鲜活，质朴又大胆。等位卡座与陈列柜底部设置陈列造型，填充以相似色彩的雨林红砂，色彩方案从墙壁延续至地面，形成立体块面之间的呼应关系。敞开式的的空间结构，光可以铺满整个空间，随着日照不同的光线，人在空间里的时候，可以感受到光阴流逝的痕迹，回到最质朴简单的年代。
