“The space aims at slowing people down” In Nantou, Shenzhen where everyone is racing against time, the owner initiated an idea to create a retail store that makes people forget the time in a design discussion. F1, EY PRODUCTS A time stationery shop “The Gate of Time” On the bustling street, you can’ t ignore the brass revolving door that is slowly turning. Why is brass? Brass is a material with strong sense of interaction. When you touch it, it will keep your unique touch on it. This is a fate of “meeting” with EY PRODUCTS, I hope it can be recorded. Why it spins slowly? Because I want you can stop at the door for a while, the process waiting for the door to be fully open is also a process of sorting out the mood, then, you will have that can't wait to find out mood and curiosity. Why is the counterclockwise rotation? If the spinning door is like a clock, because I hope you can have a wonderful experience of going back in time in the store. The wall design concept of product display area originates from the old mailbox of the building in the 1980s. We have retained this display box form and adopted more modern acrylic materials. Objects can be place in these transparent acrylic boxes. F2, Poems The oriental style life aesthetics shop “Slow it down” Through a narrow staircase, we will reach the second floor, which is a dimly lit space. When you enter in the space, your vision will be affected to some extent, then you will more concentrate yourself, slow your steps down, your sense of smell, hearing and touch will also become more sensitive than usual. Here, you will hear the sound of the wind moving the reeds, the cry of insects and the sound of gravel road under your feet rustled. The smell of essential oil “from deep forests” will ake you into a wonderful atmosphere of jungle adventure. Dragonfly balance diffuser was placed in a reed bush, which dance with the wind. When the light on the bar on the third floor is on, it will create a unique scene of skyray on the celling of the 2nd floor. F3, Private Tea House Accompanied by poems and rhythm. “Like-minded” “Private Tea” on the 3rd floor is a brand-new module, it has poetic tea-based drink and dim sum, hoping to provide a place for tired guests to sit down and have a cup of tea together. Linglong Tea House is a separate tea house on the 3rd floor, the flexible glass door can well balance the privacy and permeability of the tea room. The glass cabinet doors on both sides of the teahouse adopt art glass. When the cups are displayed in the cabinet, it will show a faint effect. There is a small attic between the 3rd and 4th floors, which only accommodate two people. When sitting on soft tatami, you will be hidden in tall reeds and feel the real meaning of the space name, Seclusion. F4, Forest Theatre Wander in bamboo forest and breath naturally. The open space on the 4th floor has more seats than the tea drinking space on the 3rd floor. The name of “Forest Theatre” comes from the seat layout is very similar to the opera house. Open seats and space are available for various activities and art courses, which provide a more casual and free communication space for everyone.
