源自杭州工业文化遗产，基于杭氧老厂房的升级创造： O2 Park氧气场源自于杭州制氧机厂，简称“杭氧”，始建于上世纪五十年代。“杭氧”在几十年的发展中，一跃成为全亚洲规模最大的制氧机厂，集一千多名员工及其家属生产、生活及娱乐为一体，宛如一座小城市体。作为中国工业化和城市化飞跃的见证，“杭氧”遗存厂房是杭州地区首批重要大型工业遗迹，现已被列为杭州市历史保护建筑。政府曾邀请赫尔佐格·德梅隆、史蒂芬·霍尔和大卫·齐普菲尔德三位国际顶级设计大师参与建筑改造方案征集。后由杭州旅游投资发展有限公司委托国际建筑大师赫尔佐格&德梅隆 (Herzog & de Meuron) 担任历史建筑修缮和保护顾问，“杭氧’遗存厂房空间不仅保留了建筑的历史风貌，设计之中更蕴含了建筑在新环境中对未来的展望。 树立引领未来的新型艺文空间业态标杆： O2 Park氧气场作为引领性的创艺中心，秉承着拓展、开放的理念，基于先锋的创意文化、生活美学所打造，引领未来的艺文生活新方式。在此，传统的行业边界被打破，全新的想象力与创造力将在这里汇聚和激发，丰富的兼容性博物馆群业态将以更新的方式定义自己，02 Park氧气场将成为杭州甚而中国的城市文化新名片。
Originating from Hangzhou's industrial and cultural heritage, based on the upgrading and creation of O2 Park's old factory building: The O2 Park originated from Hangzhou Oxygen Plant, abbreviated as “Hang Yang", and was founded in the 1950s. In decades of development, “Hang Yang" has leapt to become the largest oxygen plant in Asia, integrating the production, living, and entertainment of over a thousand employees and their families, like a small city. As a witness of China's industrialization and urbanization leap, the “Hang Yang" remains of the factory building are one of the first important large-scale industrial relics in the Hangzhou region, and have now been listed as a historical protected building in Hangzhou. The government has invited three top international design masters, Herzog de Mellon, Stephen Hall, and David Shipfield, to participate in the collection of architectural renovation plans. Later, Hangzhou Tourism Investment and Development Co., Ltd. commissioned international architectural master Herzog&de Meuron as a consultant for the repair and protection of historical buildings. The space of Hang Yang's remaining factory not only preserves the historical style of the building, but also contains the future outlook of the building in the new environment in the design. Establish a benchmark for leading the future in the new art and cultural space format: O2 Park, as a leading creative center, adheres to the concept of expansion and openness, and is built based on avant-garde creative culture and life aesthetics, leading a new way of artistic and cultural life in the future. Here, the traditional industry boundaries are broken, and new imagination and creativity will converge and be stimulated. The rich compatibility museum group business format will define itself in an updated way, and the O2 Park will become a new urban cultural card for Hangzhou and even China.
