酒店位于秦皇岛远洋蔚蓝海岸综合旅游度假园区内，设计面积38,868㎡，于2022年5月20日，全新开业。设计团队充分发挥这座酒店极为稀缺的滨海优势，从建筑“游轮”形体出发，提炼并创造一场“循鲸鸣而入”的深海之旅，邂逅海浪、风帆、鲸鱼、海底珍奇……释放灵感活力与深海想象，赋予万豪品牌“引领未来旅行”崭新诠释。 项目区位优势显著，步行百米内可抵达私享海滩，为片区内唯一超豪华度假酒店。同时也具有北方滨海独特的海洋气质与四季分明的气候特征。设计如何在酒店创造极致体验，让人感受北戴河海湾静默之外的多姿魅力，是设计的重点。 设计最大化滨海度假资源，将深海搬入室内，以艺术手法演绎具象的海洋元素，“循鲸鸣而入”、“呼吸海浪”、“浪潮”“拼贴珊贝”“逐浪鱼群”等艺术装置，虚实空间结构，营造海底浪漫与梦幻；巧用艺术马赛克、瓷白日本纸、透光铝板等材质，以当代重释传统手工，精细工艺；丰富曲面、异形、弧线，创新于家具，营造充满活力、自由链接的空间……为万豪品牌带来独一无二万的度假体验。 这场沉浸式深海之旅，从不同维度，演绎海洋体验，并艺术创新，展现这座现代滨海新城的更现代、更文艺的生活方式，希望人们在此，全年感受北方滨海生活的迷人魅力。
With a design area of 38,868 m2, the hotel, which debuted on May 20, 2022, is located in the Sino-Ocean Group-owned Seatopia Comprehensive Resort. In order to present Marriott’s brand concept of “Travel Brilliantly” in an utterly new way, the design team gives full play to the hotel’s advantageous coastal location to create a journey “guided by whale whistles” in the “cruise-ship-shaped” building to evoke guests’ inspiration and imagination towards the deep sea, which is home to waves, sails, whales, and underwater treasure. Richly endowed by the sea, the project, which enjoys a particularly favorable geographic location and four distinct seasons, is the only five-star luxury resort in the region and has an exclusive beach just 100 meters away. The focus of design lies in how to create an exclusive resort experience and present the charm of Beidaihe Bay in addition to its tranquility. In order to create a unique Marriott resort, the design team makes the most of the coastal resources and uses different artistic marine elements to bring the deep ocean into the interior space. Art installations are used to recreate a fantastic and romantic underwater world, such as the whistling “whale” at the entrance, the surging or roaring “waves”, “coral and seashell collage”, and “shoals of fish”. A variety of materials, such as artistic mosaics, porcelain white Japanese paper, and hollowed-out aluminum panels, are adopted to reinterpret traditional handcraft and fine craftsmanship in a contemporary way. Curved surfaces and lines are innovatively used in the design of irregular furniture to enhance the vitality and connection of each interior space. The design team aims to create an immersive ocean-like experience for the guests from different dimensions. With artistic innovation, the team has managed to show a more stylish lifestyle of this modern coastal city, allowing the guests to discover the charm of northern coastal life all year round.
