壹隅，被戏谑的称之为“大屋中的小屋”，它藏于8C设计在长沙的旧址里。8C设计的办公旧址本是由两套顶楼复式打通而来，壹隅则就在二层的区域，200㎡的空间，即是生活方式的传达，也是8C设计创意总监彭洋的“加班舱”，加班到困了累了，直接公寓里躺平，但她更喜欢称它为自己的单身公寓，还有英文名“Singleton”双关加持，是单身的意思也是她最爱威士忌酒牌的名字。公寓的设计核心就是还单身生活一隅“净土”。所谓“单身”不仅指未恋未婚者，还意为思维与生活的“独处”，回归本我的心境。一屋一物均为单品，把“单”做个淋漓尽致的体现。
The revamped apartment is within a spacious penthouse combined by two separate duplex apartments that was previously used as the office of 8C Design studio. The owner of 8C Design has completed a minimalist renovation of her single apartment acts as a showroom for her studio and a pied-à-terre when she stays in Changsha city. The 200-square-metre revamped apartment, named after the owner’s favorite Whisky brand The Singleton also meaning the word of single, are designed to capture the idea of everything being single-one for interior and create a calm space for having a moment of quiet introspection.
