【外】本项目的建筑对面就是忻州古城的秀容书院，几乎是游客来忻州古城必逛的一个景点，所以要能和书院有一个好的互动承接，能满足一部分游客在逛完书院后临时休息一下 静下心来喝喝茶 看看书，享受古城的这种古朴气韵。 【内】在原建筑的空隙里植入了不同大小的玻璃结构空间，把原本各自封闭的空间连接起来。在院子里植入了一条半高的弧线墙体，对原来四平八稳的空间格局进行扰动的同时也丰富了院子的使用场景。
