房屋位于上海，是一间使用面积在140平，原始户型是两室两厅两卫的单层住宅，房屋层高2.7米。屋主夫妇是一对自媒体博主+小酒馆从业者，家对于二人来说更像是一个集有趣、穿搭、自由、度假、小酌的集合地。因此设计时以城市度假屋为主题，塑造了开阔惬意的独特空间体验，强调人与空间的对话、互动。设计时通过组团手法归纳功能空间，使得每个空间独立却不孤立。改造后的空间化身成一室多厅(三个衣帽区)，开放的空间布局保证了空间的流动性以及开阔的视野，赋予居住者最舒适的居住尺度。由于屋主本身在家做饭的几率不大，所以将原来进门右手边的厨房改成了衣帽间和洗衣房。 通过打通客卧和客厅之间的墙体，利用窗洞增加和客厅互动的趣味性。不被约束的客厅、书房场域，赋予生活更多可能性，客、餐一体化呈现，功能边界模糊，整体独立但又和谐，给予视觉无界的自由感。斜顶+木梁的组合强化了整屋的度假感，墙面艺术涂料增加了肌理性，搭配天然石材的壁炉石，在城市的客厅中也可以住出度假氛围。整扇落地窗景将户外的绿色引入室内。内部以胡桃木色系为基调，利用不同颜色、纹理的旧实木拼接组成的木质墙板，辅以墙面天然肌理，体现出温润的质感和自然的构成元素。卧室与客厅联通的门，择了樱桃木贴皮刷木蜡油的工艺，通过拉伸可以调节两个空间的开敞程度，即使是深色基调中古风的家也能看起来更加开阔，同时百叶门的设计也能打破传统中古风的刻板印象，让整个居室更加具有度假的氛围。在软装选择上则选择条纹、高饱和色的一些小配饰来打破基调的沉稳，让这个家趣味十足。屋主家中几个移动的柜子，由于一直没有找到合适的家具，设计时便选择自己画图制作，基于整体木色的调性，在设计之初就考虑沿用木色的基地，为了区别于传统中古家具的设计语言，在柜体的把手上，利用跳色点缀，实现有趣和耐看的平衡。
The house is located in Shanghai and has a usable area of 140 square meters. The original floor plan included a two-bedroom, two living rooms, and two bathrooms, with a floor height of 2.7 meters. The house owners are a Personal media blogger+tavern practitioner. For them, their home is more like a gathering place for fun, clothing, freedom, vacation, and drinks. Therefore, the design takes Urban Cottage as the theme. To create a unique and spacious residential space experience, emphasize dialogue and interaction between people and space. When designing, the functional space is summarized through the group configuration method so that each room is independent but not isolated. The renovated space transformed into a single bedroom with multiple living rooms (three cloakroom areas), and the open spatial layout ensures the fluidity of space and broad vision, giving residents the most comfortable living space. Due to the homeowners not cooking at home frequently, the kitchen on the right side of the entrance changed to a cloakroom and laundry room. Demolish the wall between the guest bedroom and the living room, and use a large window opening to increase the fun of interaction with the living room. Unrestricted living room and study space, giving life more possibilities. The integration of the living room and dining room blurs the functional boundaries. The overall space is independent and harmonious, providing a sense of visual freedom without limit. The combination of a sloping roof and wooden beam strengthens the holiday feeling of the whole house. The art painting adds texture to the wall, paired with a natural stone fireplace in the living room. Even living in the city can still enjoy a vacation atmosphere. The French window introduces outdoor green into the interior. The interior is based on a walnut color scheme, using old solid wood of different colors and textures to form a wooden wall panel, complemented by the natural skin of the wall, reflecting a warm quality and natural composition elements. The door connecting the bedroom and living room is made of cherry wood veneer and painted with wood wax oil. By stretching, the openness of the two spaces can be adjusted, making even homes with a dark tone and antique style look more spacious. At the same time, the design of the shutter door can break the traditional stereotype of the mid-century modern style, making the entire room more vacation oriented. About the soft furnishings selection, choose some small accessories with stripes and high saturation colors to break the tone and make the home look fun. Due to the inability to find suitable mobile cabinets in the house, when designing, choose to draw pictures and make furniture. Based on the tonality of the overall wood color, a base that continues to use wood color was considered at the beginning of the design. To distinguish it from the design language of traditional mid-century modern furniture, jump color embellishments are used on the handles of the cabinet to achieve a balance of fun and durability.
