温岭石塘，一座傍海小镇，连绵的山脉与海岛遥遥相望，四季的信风呼啸而过，岸上莺飞草长，海面翻涌无声。 石塘的原始民居，以自然散落的形式分布于山脉之中。随着时代的迁移，当地的居民逐渐搬入城市生活，而废弃的老宅仍然坚守在山坳里，如同一个个随风飘散的蒲公英，自由停落在山的某处，生根。而我们所做的，则是在既有建筑的基础上，通过设计化的改造将其串联，从而得到一个集居住、休闲、商业于一体的共享性社区概念。 由于靠近海岸，多受台风侵袭，让此处的民居以坚固、防风作为基础要素，故而呈现为典型的“石头房”景观：选用 50 公分左右的虎皮石，配合天然的海砂堆叠，起到与夯土墙相似的效果，同时其厚重的特性更能够承受风雨的洗礼。 我们在后建的空间中，同样采用了这两种当地常用的建筑材料，保持项目在地性的统一，同时，天然的材料自然具备沉积感，我们希望在日常使用的过程中，随着访客的来来往往，空间会变得越来越“旧”，但同时也记录着每一次到访的痕迹。 项目以九幢建筑聚合，其中八幢作为客房使用，一幢为公共区域，配备咖啡厅、博物馆，露营基底等等公共设施，未来计划纳入崖间 SPA、图书馆等娱乐场所，以当地的人文景观为出发点，纳入现代化的居住习惯，从而诞生一个让人愿意为之奔赴前往的理由。 我们相信良性的生态循环必然是敞开的，是能够与外界产生互联的。以“博物馆”作为内外交互的闸口，通过不同主题的诠释，注入艺术的泛性细胞，为社区不断注入新的活力，也为多次的到访提供新的趣味。 奢野既来，当广袤的原野成为奢侈，当无际的海岸仅留于梦境，我们在海岸边际的群山之上，造一处亦真亦幻，亦古亦今建筑群落，以点点光辉，等一次突然到访的凝视。
Wenling Shitang, a small seaside town, is nestled among the continuous mountains with islands visible on the distant horizon. Seasonal trade winds howl through the air, while warblers flutter among lush grass, and the sea churns silently. The indigenous residences of Shitang are scattered naturally throughout the mountains. Over time, local residents gradually move to urban areas, while the old houses remain in the valleys, like dandelions drifting with the wind, settling in the mountains. What we aim to do is to transform the existing buildings, through thoughtful design and renovation, into a co-living community that integrates living, leisure, and commercial spaces. Given their proximity to the coastline and frequent typhoon attacks, the local residences embody characteristics of sturdiness and wind resistance, resulting in the typical 'stone house' landscape: using roughly 50 cm tiger skin stones combined with natural sea sand, creating a similar effect to rammed earth walls, and allowing them to better withstand the wind and rain. In the newly constructed space, we have also used these two local materials to preserve the locality of this project. Additionally, the natural materials possess an inherent sense of sedimentation. We hope that, through everyday use and the ebb and flow of visitors, the space will evolve into a beautifully aged state and record the traces of each visit. The project consists of nine buildings: eight serve as guest rooms, and one as public areas including a café,museum, and camping facilities. Future plans include adding a cliffside spa, library, and other recreational amenities. By integrating local cultural landscapes with modern living habits, the project aims to create a compelling destination for people to visit. We believe that a virtuous ecological cycle must be open and interconnected with the outside world. By using the “museum” as a gateway for internal and external interactions, and through various thematic interpretations, we infuse the community with artistic vitality, continually revitalizing it and providing diverse experiences for repeat visits. In a world where vast wilderness becomes a luxury and endless coastlines appear only in dreams, we create an architectural ensemble on the mountains bordering the coast where the real meets the ethereal and the ancient meets the modern, awaiting a sudden, attentive gaze.
