“圆与方”呼应传统中国哲学的“天与地”的叠川麦芽威士忌酒厂作为现代建筑来对话自然山水，演绎出峨眉风光的“山与水”。酒厂由工业生产区域和游客中心两部分组成，镶嵌于一面背山、三面环水的自然景观中。其中，三座呈长方形的工业生产建筑位于酒厂北侧，是如恩对中国传统建筑的当代诠释。 为了呵护当地无与伦比的风土条件和纯净天然的自然水源，建筑师在设计和建造过程中严格遵循可持续生态理念。诚如已故文豪郭沫若在《峨眉山下》一文中所述：其所以使我留恋并不因为故，而是因为新。
"Round and square" echoes the traditional Chinese philosophy of "heaven and earth". As a modern architecture, the Chuan Malt Whiskey Distillery is a dialogue with the natural landscape and an interpretation of the "mountain and water" of Emei scenery. The winery consists of two parts, an industrial production area and a visitor center, set in a natural landscape surrounded by mountains on one side and water on three sides. Among them, three rectangular industrial production buildings are located on the north side of the winery and are neri&hu's contemporary interpretation of traditional Chinese architecture. In order to take care of the unrivaled terroir and pure natural water, the architects strictly adhered to the concept of sustainable ecology in the design and construction process. Just as the late writer Guo Moruo said in "Under Mount Emei" : it makes me miss it not because of the old, but because of the new.
