粗野主义源于法语béton brut（未处理的混凝土），用来形容使用粗糙和厚重材料建造的建筑。就如同艺术家王嶺的家，也是一场在人意料之外、身处其中又感到合乎情理的生活空间营造。 历经两年概念设计、一年施工落地，最终建成了这所“收藏者之家”。王嶺希望空间既要有层次，也要留白可以容纳他收藏的作品。在居住方面，则想引入一种平静、自然的氛围，所以主色调选择了白色和较浅的木色。每件置于家中的物品，都经过了王嶺精挑细选。对他来说，“收藏一件作品其实就是收藏了一种思想。”是否是“好设计”或“好作品”，概念是很抽象和模糊的。
Brutalism comes from French béton brut (untreated concrete), used to describe buildings built with rough and heavy materials. Just like the home of the artist Wang Ling, it is also a life that is unexpected and feels reasonable in it. After two years of conceptual design and one-year construction, this "collector's home" was finally built. Wang Ling hopes that the space must be layered and left blank to accommodate his collections. In terms of living, I want to introduce a calm and natural atmosphere. In the main color, white and lighter wood are selected, and each item placed in the home has been carefully selected by Wang Ling. For him, "collecting a piece of work is actually a collection of ideas." Is it "good design" or "good work", the concept is very abstract and fuzzy.
