设计师自述 / 陈飞波 Account of Designer / Bob Chen 这是一套位于杭州城西山脚下的坡地别墅，从建筑改造到室内设计前后花了约三年左右，虽然无论是业主还是设计师都是希望尽快呈现结果，但我的内心有时候还蛮享受这种慢慢来的感觉。  关于住宅设计，功能好像没什么可以说的了，我更关心的是这个房子和主人的关系，空间可理解成这是主人的外衣。每个主人各不相同，有各自的价值取向和各自的生活习惯，和商业空间不同的是，没有办法把设计画像定义的那么具象。 五年前，做完我自己的住宅之后，陆续会有身边的朋友找我为他们设计家，慢慢的对住宅设计有了很多认知。我的思考始终没有偏离，脑子里时刻想像着未来的主人和他家人、朋友在这个房子里的场景。设计师其实都很希望表现自己的意图和想法，但是在做家的时候，我更愿意表达主人的需求，很多时候都是我在鼓励他们尽可能的告诉我他们真实的想法，也可以天马行空和批判。 我喜欢为有洁癖、对某一类事物有特殊喜好的人设计房子，因为通过以往的合作里面我也真实的学习到了很多。因为每个人都会有不同程度的恋物情结，家里不一定是全新的，在不同时期会留下有一些特殊意义或价值的物品或者家具，让这些东西参与其中，这是设计的一个部分。设计过程中从开始排斥到理解再到喜爱面对这样的问题我花了好几年的时间，这些有时候看起来像个障碍的物，到最后都变成了不可或缺。 “我作为业主的朋友和设计师，希望呈现一个适合他们的家，空间里使用到很多材料和家具、艺术品都和他们的日常工作和经历有关，既是顺手的事情，也非它莫属。”
This is a sloping villa located at the foot of the mountains in the western part of Hangzhou. From architectural renovation to interior design, it took us about three years. Although everybody wants to see the final result as early as possible, I kind of enjoy the feeling of taking it slow. About house design, there seems to be not much to say. What I care more about is the bond between the house and its owner. Space can be taken as the owner's coat, and different owners have different values and living habits. Unlike commercial space, there is no way to define the design or portrait so figuratively. Five years ago, after I finished the decoration of my own residence, many friends came and ask me to design for their house. Gradually, I got a deeper insight into residential design. I always imagine the scene when the owner, the family and their friends are in the house. Designers actually want to express their intentions and ideas. But when I am working on house decoration, I choose to express the needs of owners. I often encourage them to tell me their ideas and appeals, and sometime I may be critical or be creative. I like to design houses for people who are clean and have a special liking for certain things, and I have learned a lot from the past experiences with them. To a certain degree, everyone has a fetish complex, and not all articles and things in their house are brand-new. Some items or furniture with special significance or value will be remained in different periods. Design must involve them. It took me several years from repulsion at the beginning, to understanding in the process, and finally loving to face such problems. Obstacles will become indispensable in the end. “As a designer and friend of owners, I hope to present a home suitable for them. Many materials, furniture and artworks used are a part of their daily work and experience. They are handy, and they are unique.” —— By Bob Chen
